Accident Avoidance
Car crashes are the number one killer of teenagers. Unlike driver’s ed, the Accident Avoidance Workshops specializes in teaching our students how to respond when everything goes horribly wrong to improve their chances of avoiding a fatal accident. This is a 7-hour, parent-participation program done in the student’s own vehicle, and it will be returning right here at Kell on March 11th – 14th. The program is certified as a Level 5 Defensive Driving program by the National Defensive Driving Institute. Both students and parents alike are eligible to receive a Defensive Driving Certificate for completing this program. Kell High School offers this program at a discount, but space is limited. Census
The census forms are to be mailed in March. You may find the attached article helpful in discussing the need for everyone, citizen or not, to respond. There are only 10 questions on the form and the Census Bureau estimates it will only take 10 minutes to fill out. Click here to see the article about the Census.

ATHLETICS

Lacrosse Super Saturday
This Saturday, February 27th, the Boys and Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity lacrosse teams will be playing at Longhorn Stadium. Boys JV starts at 9:00 am, followed by Boys Varsity at 11:00 am, Girls Varsity at 1:00 pm, and Girls JV at 3:00 pm. One admission price buys a full day of the most exciting, fastest growing sport in Georgia.

Cheerleading
KHS Cheerleading information meeting will be held on March 3rd, at 6:00 pm in the Media Center. Tryouts will be on March 15th – 17th at 3:45 - 6:00 pm in the Auxiliary gym. Check the Kell Cheerleading website at http://www.wix.com/KellCheer/home for more information.
