Longhorn Stampede
The 2009-2010 Longhorn Stampede is Thursday, August 6th. Click here for information regarding Stampede. All students must attend at their assigned times for yearbook/ID photos and parking permits. Seniors will need to have a photo taken at this time for their student ID. Parking permits will be available for purchase.

Bus Routes
Due to budget cuts by the state, Cobb County School board is forced to eliminate 11,000 bus stops. The new plan requires some adjustments for students who live within a 1/2 mile radius of the school. Please remember, Cobb is the only county that offers student pick up within the 1/2 mile radius. Our district will save $900,000 and keep all but 12 bus driver positions. The new bus routes are available online at the county website www.cobbk12.org under Departments/Transportation. Attached are some Bus Safety Tips for parents.

Volunteers Needed
With so many student activities happening at Stampede - we need a lot of volunteers. Shifts run from 8:45 - 11:00; 11:45 - 1:30 and 1:30 - 3:00.

We are looking forward to a wonderful 2009-10 school year. Please come to Stampede and see how you can be involved at Kell and in the PTSA. It takes every parent to make the school year a success and we have many volunteer opportunities. Get involved and make Kell the best it can be!

This Fall, The Princeton Review will be holding an SAT Class at Kell HS.
Tuition is $325 and it covers all the work, including 18 hours of classroom instruction, two diagnostic tests, 24/7 access to online student resources, and course materials.
