New Driver Car Control Clinic comes to Kell

Did you know that 85% of crashes by 16- and 17-year-olds are due to “Driver Error”, not speed, not drugs, and not alcohol? Teens simply are not taught what to do in an emergency. Does your teen know what to do when s/he drops two wheels off the side of the road? Do you know the truth about rollovers and how to avoid them? These are a few of the things you'll learn at the New Driver Car Control Clinic at Kell High School in April 2008.

The popular six hour HANDS-ON, IN-CAR clinic focuses on teaching critical accident-avoidance maneuvers and defensive driving skills such as brake management; the so-called panic stop without the panic; eye management for judging spatial relationships; and steering management: making the car go precisely where you want it, even in an emergency.

Classroom instruction on Thursday, April 24th, 2008
Driving sessions on Saturday, April 26th or Sunday, April 27th.

Register on-line at www.CarControl.com or call 800-862-3277. Students need a Learner's Permit or License. $169 per Parent/Student Team. Parent required at both sessions.
