Youth Services Issues

One of the main purposes of PTA and PTSA is to help educate our students, parents and community regarding the health and well-being of our students. Throughout the school year, Kell PTSA is made aware of programs that we feel are so important for our youth to see and hear. Unfortunately, PTSA cannot always offer these programs to our students during the school day.
We hope that you, as a parent, will review these programs and take the time to watch these videos with your children, discuss the topics, and let your children know how much we all care about them.
This information can save lives – the lives or our children!

The Last Text
Please watch AT&T’s new 10-minute documentary titled “The Last Text,” featuring stories of real individuals whose lives have been adversely affected by texting behind the wheel. Our goal is to protect all drivers, but especially our teens. Share this video with your children and alert them to the dangers of texting while driving.

Dear 16 Year Old Me
Your children are never too old to be protected from the sun and neither are you! Watch this video with them and remind them of the importance of using sunscreen this spring and summer.
